Mark your
calendar! We have set the date for
the Millennium Reunion for Saturday, September
30, 2000. This was the date
that the majority of you picked. Plans
are underway and it should be lots of fun!
It is going to be held at the Homestead Restaurant (formerly Maxwell’s)
in Woodhull at 7:00 P.M. We have a
short program planned with a disc jockey to entertain us afterwards.
There will be hors d'oeuvres served throughout the evening with a cash
bar available. The cost for this
will be $7.50 per person.
If there should be any remaining funds it will be divided equally and
donated to each class for future use.
Class of 1977 member Nick Boland has set up a Website
for us. It is Alwood.org.
We are hoping this will be a good place to keep everyone updated on the
reunion plans without the cost of postage.
On the form below there is a place to mark if you have access to this
Website. If not, we will continue
to mail any information to you.
Since it is the weekend of AlWood’s Homecoming we are going to try to
get each class to participate in the parade on Friday evening before the
football game. If you are
interested in being a part of this please contact your class representative
listed on the back. More
information on times of the parade and the Homecoming game will follow at a
later date.
We have also listed some of the area motels on the back of this letter
for anyone that might be interested. Also,
listed is the Homestead’s telephone number for those of you that might want to
have dinner in their dining room before the reunion.
If you are considering this we do suggest that you make reservations.
We would appreciate any comments or suggestions on making this an
enjoyable evening. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated; just contact any of
the names on the back of this letter.
